- Milk 100 ml.
- 2 eggs
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Soda 1/2 tsp
- Flour 350-370 gr.
- Powdered sugar to taste
- Vegetable oil 400 ml.
- Main ingredients Flour, Sugar
bowl, spoon (whisk), rolling pin, pan
In warm milk, add salt and sugar. Mix. In a bowl, mix the eggs with milk. Add sifted flour with soda. Knead soft, firm dough. Wrap in a bag and leave to rest for 15-20 minutes.
Divide the rest of the dough into 2 parts. Put one bun in the bag. Roll out the second part into a thin layer, 3-4 mm thick. Cut into 9/10 cm rectangles. On each rectangle make cuts in the middle, not to the end. Fold diagonally. Gather edges together to form a fan.
Heat the oil well, lower it in 2 pieces and fry on both sides until it is rosy, tanned. You can straighten it a little with a long wooden skewer. Do not fry many preparations at once, because brushwood increases in volume, grows before our eyes, if there is not enough space, it will open poorly. Remove on paper towels to remove excess fat.
Sprinkle the cooled brushwood with powdered sugar and can be served.
