1. In a saucepan with boiling water, boil the pasta for the time specified on the package.

2. Meanwhile, in a large pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil, then a clove of finely chopped garlic, pressed ham and cherry tomatoes cut in half; let all this mixture brown a little, scrape from side to side (lasts about 4 minutes), then add the 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce (if it is not enough water we can dilute it with a tablespoon of water) and, at the end, season with freshly ground pepper, salt and fresh basil (finely chopped).

3. The cooked and rinsed pasta is then put in cold water in a pan with red sauce and kept on low heat for about 5 minutes.

4. Serve with great appetite, sprinkling Parmesan or grated cheese on top !!
